Making a difference doesn’t stop at the door of our offices, or indeed those of our customers. It’s something we believe in and actively engage in on a regular basis. Sustainability is in the very fabric of The Red Thread Partnership; here’s a brief overview of the projects we are involved in as part of making a difference to communities.
Freddie is Vice-Chair of the Delapre Abbey Preservation Trust that will see this 900 year old Abbey once again made habitable and opened up to the public for the first time.
Adrian has been offering his time to deliver leadership and management development workshop to Action on Hearing Loss for a number of years. https://www.actiononhearingloss.org.uk
Both Freddie and Adrian are keen runners and have put their hobby to good use to raise money for charity.
For the last two years we have participated in the NSPCC MK Half Marathon, raising over £1,300 in 2016 alone. In 2017 we are upping the ante a bit and will run the London Marathon with one of our Fellows in aid of MKSnap, though we’re hoping we will have recovered enough by the Autumn to continue our support for the NSPCC!
We’re currently sponsoring Sam Buss a young and upcoming golfer based in the area who has recently turned professional, since we believe in supporting people in pursuing their dreams and using their talents.
We have been an N100 member of the Northamptonshire Community Foundation for a number of years and work with both Foundations to support them in their activities both through the Fellowship and other related projects.
