Carol gets up in the morning, because...

She is energized by partnering with clients to create the conditions for their people and organizations to thrive. (Actually, a double espresso helps with the energizing). An early riser, she focuses on what really matters most in the day ahead for her clients and how she and they can stay true to their intentions.

During the day…

Carol works with leaders and teams in messy organizations as they deal with complexity and surprises. Working across the pharma, tech and financial services sectors, she helps clients use their strengths and attention in smart ways to grow their businesses. Her clients make changes in their leadership and businesses that they and their stakeholders rate as valuable and genuine. They become even more resilient, and better able to sustain high performance during constant change. And the organizations they work for, e.g., Cisco, Thomson Reuters and American Express, are better able to scale these leaders and teams across different markets and cultures.

And afterwards...

Most weeknights she turns her attention westward to begin a “second shift”, working with clients in the US and keeping up with friends near her Arizona home. Depending on the season, she’s either got her hands dirty in the garden or warmed by an experiment with comfort foods. Most days include a cardio or weights workout with frothy pop music. She’s also taken up making jewelry using glass beads. Be warned, necklaces have been known to unravel in the middle of meetings, sending beads everywhere.
