Freddie Guilmard is a motivational speaker, business owner, consultant, co-author of '7 Steps to Frontier Leadership' and business coach who values courage, passion, curiosity, care, agility and fun. Having left his homeland, Madagascar, in the middle of a political coup aged 10, and then moving to England from Paris aged 18, with limited English, Freddie brings his unique perspectives gained from his life experiences empowering you to challenge your beliefs and behaviours. With global experience of helping leaders and organisations deal with their big issues and build more caring and inclusive communities, Freddie spot lights how every person in your organisation plays their part in achieving your mission.
In France, one year’s Military service in the 1980’s was obligatory, this brief but intense period has fundamentally shaped Freddie’s resilient, optimistic, opportunist attitude. Being one of only two young men to earn a medal for outstanding contribution, within three months he was promoted to the rank of Corporal, within five months he was Chief Corporal, within six months he was promoted to Sergeant. He learned lessons that continue to support and drive him today in his business; he appreciates that achievement starts with attitude, that, although success needn’t be complicated, it is hard but if you overcome challenges, view them as opportunities, happiness and success will be your reward.
Having earned several business awards for work with Lexus, Bupa, Suzuki, and Business Impact in the Community award for the Red Thread Fellowship programme, Freddie and The Red Thread Partnerhsip have proved that an attitude of positive determination is the key to success. Freddie knows that high performance is a journey, not a destination, and he guides you through routes to follow.
