Martin gets up in the morning because…

He loves what he does. Life is too short to do things you don’t enjoy and if everything you have planned in the day is great, why wouldn’t you want to get up?

During the day…

As a line manager in the logistics industry for almost 30 years, Martin learned the value of managing the individual performances of people working in the various teams he managed (up to 400 people) in numerous businesses.

Having worked in the assessment industry for over 15 years, he’s now able to provide organisations with tools that allow them to recruit the right people first time, every time, as well as developing their existing people to work at the highest possible level. Better still, the tools work in any organisation that employs people and the cost is usually lower than the cost of the problems they’re designed to solve - a true win-win.

On an average day, you’ll find him...

Talking to businesses about better recruitment
Working with organisations to improve business performance through people
Feeding back the results of 360 programmes
Training clients to use the platform that supports both the assessments and 360s
Talking to audiences big and small about how assessments can resolve the people-related issues they face today.

And afterwards…

Martin volunteers with his local branch of the Motor Neurone disease Association (the Chiltern Branch). He is currently Branch Chair and Fundraising Lead which is challenging but incredibly satisfying. He loves (watching) sport but sadly doesn’t get to watch his first love, Middlesbrough FC, often enough (he says that no one ever accused HIM of being a glory hunter), and uses his local club, Wycombe Wanderers, as a bit of a surrogate. He loves cinema and theatre and, many weekends, you’ll find him sitting in the dark, being entertained.
