The Award Winning Red Thread Fellowship is a transformative, year-long leadership development programme that bridges the gap between corporate ambition and community need.

Since its inception in 2016, the Fellowship has delivered programmes in Oxford, Northampton and Cambridge, and now focussing solely in Milton Keynes, fostering a network of leaders committed to personal growth and societal impact.

Programme Highlights

Experiential Learning: Fellows collaborate with local charities, applying leadership theories to real-world challenges, enhancing both personal and organizational development.
Structured Workshops: Seven action-learning sessions cover topics such as strategic planning, team dynamics, effective communication, and change management.
Community Contribution: Each Fellow commits to raising a minimum of £500 for their partnered charity, collectively contributing over £75,000 to date.
In 2025, a “World Class Citizen” module was added to the programme. Fellows are encouraged to create an action plan for how they will enhance their own roles as good citizens, and how they might promote Good Citizenship to their colleagues, organisation, family and community.

2025 Cohort Launch: MK8

In early 2025, the Fellowship welcomed its eighth Milton Keynes cohort, MK8, at a two-day launch event hosted at headline sponsor Ringway’s offices. Eleven emerging leaders embarked on their transformative journeys, engaging in personality assessments and sharing their aspirations for growth.
Don't just take our word for it, read to what our fellows and sponsors have to say:
