The easyJet Winter Conference took place on December 5th 2024, and Freddie was delighted to be invited as Keynote Speaker at the event.

The theme for the keynote focused on change, transformation and resilience. Freddie set the scene around how in 1995, he worked for Air Foyle, who held the operating licence for EasyJet. He talked about how he had witnessed, how the company and the team, led by Stelios, operated at that time.

Freddie then talked about his own journey to success, from his early days as a child in Madagascar, outlining his personal challenges in losing his home at age 10, and about having to adapt to a new culture and environment through his relocations to France and then the UK.

Freddie talked to the audience about understanding where you are heading and how you stay on track. He talked about embracing change and 'looking up'. He gave examples of successful case study stories from working with Suzuki GB and about the huge transformation project at Delapre Abbey in Northampton.

Freddie summarised by talking about what change really means; emphasizing that change is constant and change is everywhere and those that do not recognise and embrace this fact ultimately become irrelevant, or disappear.

Freddie said after the event:

"Really enjoyed my keynote talk at the easyJet Winter Conference yesterday. What a fabulous group of people, all working hard towards keeping us all safe in the air. A truly inspiring day full of celebrations and recognitions."

"Freddie gave a wonderful keynote for our yearly conference at easyJet this year, and hosts excellent local meet-up groups for those in leadership. He will bring thoughtful insights either from within you or to you as necessary, from a place of caring. Highly recommend engaging with Freddie."
