Andrew Pilkington is the former Managing Director of Polestar Automotive and Genesis Motor UK. Both organisations are UK subsidiaries of global automotive businesses. He was the 1st employee in both companies, charged with setting up the operations, recruiting and leading the teams, and successfully launching the brands in the UK in a fiercely competitive and complex industry. Since the start of this year, until very recently, he was setting up VinFast UK, the subsidiary of VinFast Automotive, a new Vietnamese battery electric vehicle manufacturer who had aspirations to enter the UK. Due to production delays, it has decided to postpone its market launch. Therefore, Andrew is uniquely placed to discuss the challenges of setting up a start-up business for success. 
 
Prior to this, Andrew has worked in various sales, marketing and operational management and leadership roles in the UK and overseas for a number of global brands during his extensive career. Andrew Pilkington is a pragmatic, results focussed, strategic leader who recognises that the core foundation for a business's success is its people. 
 
Dr Susan Izadkhasti is a Coach and Consultant for Leaders and Organisations in STEMM Field.  
 
Having accomplished her BSc, MSc and PhD in Molecular virology, specialising in the area of Coronavirus vaccine development, in 2009 Susan moved to the business sector to work in Sales, Business Development, and Marketing roles for over a decade. Her coaching journey started back in 2012, and now as a qualified and experienced coach Susan guides others and impacts more lives. Her mission is to help as many people as possible to not only have a healthier life, but also a happier and more fulfilled one.
