The Issue

In a world that is ever changing, how can leaders become more compassionate and build more caring and inclusive communities? By learning leadership skills through experiential workshops and volunteering with a local voluntary organisation supporting them to be sustainable for the long term.

That's is what Freddie and Adrian decided in 2016 after watching the news about the Paris bombings. Members of society who had become disconnected from the communities in which they lived imposing atocities. The Fellowship programme was born with one vision, 'to build more caring and inclusive communities' - and be offered FOR FREE!
Action

The Red Thread Fellowship began in Milton Keynes with 12 local mangers/leaders of organisations and 6 local charities. 7 experiential workshops led the Fellows through self discovery, leadership learning and designing a project for their chosen charity for longer term sustainability. Since then there have been a further 5 Milton Keynes cohorts plus others in other cities - all offered at NO Cost to the participants.

Impact

The impact is clear;

6 Milton Keynes cohorts and ones in Cambridge, Oxford and Leicester.
77 Fellows graduated.
35 Charities supported.
Over £60,000.00 raised for charity.
1 Award (for which we are immensely proud)

And we couldn't do it without our amazingly generous sponsors.
